Say goodbye to scalpers (come on, we believe it): France can now access the store on Sony’s official website and buy the brand’s products, including the PS5, directly.
The news had been expected for several months: the PlayStation Direct official store now allows you to buy PS5s from France. Until now, only a few countries in Europe had the right to access it, but the nation of a thousand cheeses has just joined the list, just like the Belgium and Luxembourg.
Announced in October 2021 to put a blow to the scalpers, the site allows you to order a console directly from the supplier, in this case Sony, without going through an intermediary. Stocks are certainly still as limited (and even currently empty), but the order can only be made through your PSN account, for a single copy.
