Gran Turismo 7 today receives its 1.13 patch which brings with it several new circuits and brand new cars to fill your garage.

After making players happy by drastically increasing rewards and adjusting several times with numerous hotfixes, Gran Turismo 7 offers itself patch 1.13 and will, there too, make people happy.

New cars and tracks

In addition to the usual fixes, and some changes to improve the experience (Quality of Life) this new update mainly adds 3 new cars as well as several plots:

Cars:

  • Subaru BRZ GT300 ’21,
  • Subaru BRZ S ’21,
  • Suzuki Cappuccino

Tours:

  • The route of the 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps
  • European Sunday Cup 500
  • Japanese Clubman Cup 550
  • World Touring Car 800

MAJOR CHANGES

Cars

The following three new cars have been added:

  • Subaru BRZ GT300 ’21 (Purchasable at Brand Central)
  • Subaru BRZ S ’21 (Purchasable at Brand Central)
  • Suzuki Cappuccino (EA11R) ’91 (Purchasable from April 26 at the used car dealership)

Tours

  • The route of the 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps has been added.
  • The following three events have been added to Spa-Francorchamps, European Sunday Cup 500, Japanese Clubman Cup 550, World Touring Car 800

Scenes

  • “Gassho Style Houses in Ainokura” and “Cherry Blossoms at Night” locations have been added to the featured section.
  • A slideshow option has been added to Self Demo.

ADJUSTMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS

  • Topic News is now displayed in the center of the screen.

Used car dealership

  • A “New” tag is now displayed for new cars available for sale each day
  • The Suzuki Cappuccino (EA11R) ’91 will be on sale at race (On / Off)
  • Race Music (Volume)
  • Race Sound Effects (Volume)
  • Player Motor Noise (Volume)
  • Transmission Noise (Volume)
  • Tire squeal (Volume)
  • Engine noise from rivals (Volumstart from April 26 as “HOT” car.

Legend Cars dealership

  • A “New Stock” tag is now displayed for new cars available for purchase that day.

Garage

  • The word “Wide Body” now displays on all cars in your garage that have been modified with a wide body;
  • An engine start sound is now played when changing cars.

Race screen

  • For races with time limits, the remaining time display has been moved to the center of the screen and the design has been adjusted.

Rival Cars (AI)

  • Adjusted the driving line of rival cars at the Nürburgring.

Sport

  • It is now possible to participate in certain events by renting event-specific cars, or with garage cars
  • Videos are now broadcast before the finals of the “Nations Cup” and the “Constructors’ Cup”.

The following information is now displayed in the event screen displayed before each race:

  • Tire wear rate
  • Fuel consumption rate
  • Temperature
  • Start type
  • Tires Required (Displayed only if set)
  • Required Pit Stop (Displayed only if set)
  • A race etiquette video now plays when you first enter “Sport” mode. This video presents important driving recommendations for participating in races;
  • Added a “Race Details” screen.

The following information can be checked from the ‘Ride Details’ icon on the right of the ride entry screen.

Livery Editor

  • Added ‘Default Decal Color’ in ‘Editor Settings’. ‘White’ or ‘Newest Color Used’ are now selectable and selecting ‘Newest Color Used’ will select the most recent color that was last used.

replay

  • Added option to filter by genre or artist when selecting a song from Replay
  • For new replays, it is now possible to fast forward to the next round.

Car Parameters

  • Fixed an issue where the name of a settings sheet would disappear;
  • Fixed a Performance Points (PP) issue that occurred due to a Power Restriction adjustment;
  • Fixed an issue where Performance Points (PP) were not added correctly if certain settings or operations were performed. (Performance points may not be calculated correctly under certain conditions, for example if high grip tires are added to certain cars).

Car behavior

  • Adjusted geometry calculation algorithm for suspension. This provided improved traction for rear-wheel-drive cars and reduced weight shift reactions;
  • Adjusted the relationship between controller inputs (analog stick, R2 button, gas pedal on a steering wheel controller) and throttle position.
  • Adjustment of the direction speed of the analog stick;
  • Adjusted the force feedback in the following steering wheel controllers: Fanatec® Podium, Fanatec® GT DD Pro, Fanatec® GT DD Pro + BoostKit
  • Adjusted brake pressure control for all four brakes when entering a turn. Therefore, the braking distance is reduced in general.

Settings

  • The strength of the trigger effect can now be adjusted from the quick menu displayed during a run, or from [Paramètres] > [Paramètres de la manette] in the pause menu. The 1P trigger effect (Accelerator) and the 1P trigger effect (Brakes) can both be set to Off, Weak or Strong.
  • Change the upper limit of “Controller direction speed correction” from 7 to 10 in [Réglages] > [Réglages du contrôleur] > [Sensibilité de la direction du contrôleur] in the race quick menu and pause menu. 13.

Settings (Sound volume)

The following eight sound options can now be adjusted from [Réglages] > [Volume du son] in the race quick menu and pause menu:

  • Race Sound Mode (Balanced BGM and Sound / Enhanced Sound / Focus on Race BGM).
  • Play background race music (On / Off)
  • Race Music (Volume)
  • Race Sound Effects (Volume)
  • Player Motor Noise (Volume)
  • Transmission Noise (Volume)
  • Tire squeal (Volume)
  • Rivals Engine Noise (Volume)

GT-Auto

  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to perform an oil change on a car that did not need it.

Cars

Fixed various issues with the following four cars:

  • Honda Fit Hybrid ’14: car body color reportedly not applied to parts of underside;
  • Jeep Willys MB ’45: interior paint was not applied when tuned;
  • Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition (FK8) ’20: Decal graphic was distorted when decal was added from [Pièces personnalisées] > [Avant] > [Type A] in the livery editor;
  • Ferrari 458 Italia ’09: Number decal appeared distorted when added to a car with a wide body modification.

OTHERS

  • Various other issues have been addressed
