A very good news seems to be waiting for the Red Dead Online community and it should arrive soon.
This is a tweet from Tezd2a rather reliable source when it comes to leaks at Rockstar Gameswho set the fire to the powder keg. The latter posted a meme pointing the finger at the fact that the community of Red Dead Online is abandoned in favor of that of GTA Online. He then retweeted his little joke with a date: July 19, 2022. Enough to panic the players who see it as a sign of a potential new wave of content that RDO would need.
This is not an insignificant date. Indeed, July 19 also marks the end of the current GTA Online roadmap. This means that Rockstar may turn its attention to its other popular online game to try to keep its fans involved in the experience.
A relief for gamers
Such excitement may seem like overkill. However, the community has been clamoring for new content for Red Dead Online for ages and may finally be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. A movement had even been created with the hashtag #SaveRedDeadOnline in a final attempt to draw attention to this lack of new content. A call of distress that had been heard by the boss of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, thus ensuring that things would move on the side of Rockstar.
So, news or misinformation? Answer on July 19.
