The next Geneva Watchmaking Week will take place in Switzerland from Monday March 27 to Sunday April 2, 2023.
During this must-attend event in the field, the American company Jacob & Co is planning to present a brand new version of its successful Astronomia Casino watch that was originally released during 2019.
This new creation is another reminder of the undeniable mastery and sense of eccentricity of this internationally renowned watchmaking house.
It will be offered in a limited edition of only 101 copies for an amount of not less than 280 000 dollarswhich represents about 262 886 euros.

We must admit that the case of the future Astronomia Casino Roulette Tourbillon complication watch is quite different from that of the previous version, which dates back to the year 2019.
This time, we can count on a shell of 18-karat rose gold that displays characteristics of 44 mm in diameter for 16.30 mm thick. Note also in passing that it is waterproof up to 3 bar, which corresponds to 30 meters.
With its polished design, it manages to find a new identity with a curved case. There are also 4 curved lugs that fit perfectly on the wrists, matching perfectly with the black alligator strap. In short, the ensemble offers a simple and uncluttered look of rare elegance.

As its name suggests, the new Astronomia Casino Roulette Tourbillon complication watch from the Jacob & Co watchmaking house has something to charm casino lovers. Indeed, under its sapphire crystal, one can admire its simple black onyx dial as well as its pink gold hour and minute hands which are surrounded by the 37 numbered squares from 0 to 36 of a real roulette wheel.
In keeping with the grand tradition, each one is alternately black or red, except for the zero which is green.
A complication watch, this famous wheel is perfectly functional. It can be triggered simply by pressing a push button located at 8 o’clock on the case.
The different numbers on the cylinder start to turn, as does a small ceramic ball. Then, this one stops little by little on a square to determine the winning number. This is something to delight gambling and casino enthusiasts. There are also 8 diamond-shaped reflectors on the black cover, just like in a real roulette wheel.
