Finally, its release will not be in April. The remake of Advance Wars finds itself once again postponed. This time, the postponement is linked to the international crisis.
While it was to be released last December, the remake compiling the GBA titles was then postponed in order to benefit from additional care. And, during the last Nintendo Direct, it was believed to be done, that Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp had secured its final release date. That day, we expected to see him arrive on April 8. This was without taking into account the unfortunate events currently taking place in Ukraine.
Indeed, Nintendo has just announced its postponement to an as yet undefined date. The Japanese company will communicate it later. The reasons for this decision have not been clearly communicated, but it seems obvious that the current war in Ukraine is the main reason for it..
Due to international news, we have decided to postpone the release of Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, originally scheduled for 08/04 on Nintendo Switch. The new release date of the game will be announced later.

Recently, The Chinese Room had done the same with its Little Orpheus. The topics dealt with were then considered too sensitive in view of the context. Which should also be the case here: nintendo would therefore have concluded that it would have been inappropriate to release a title that deals lightly with the war in this troubled period.
What do you think? Is this a good decision?
