PSP Minis on PS3 before Christmas?

Submitted by Stephen Ebert on December 3, 2009 – 9:44 pmOne Comment

Coming soon to a PS3 near you?Along with the launch of the PSPgo came the launch of PSP Minis, a selection of cheaper, bitezise downloadable games for PSP consoles. Word is they could be appearing on PS3 before Christmas.

That’s according to Joystiq who report that a “reliable” source has tipped them that PSP Minis will become playable on the PS3 “before Christmas.”

If true it won’t be a complete surprise. Back in September SCEE’s Zeno Colaco hinted at the possibility, saying “..we do have games that deliver experiences suitable for both PSP and PS3. The first thing that springs to mind is Super Stardust HD, which started life on the PS3 and was ported to the PSP.”

Don’t expect to hear anything from Sony before it happens though. Sony has given the usual “We don’t comment on rumor or speculation” line. Not long to go till Christmas now. We’ll soon find out.
