The Twisted Metal rumor is back. The LinkedIn profile of an engineer from Lucid Games reveals an as yet unannounced AAA PS5 project.
Lucid Games, the British studio behind the game Destruction AllStars, is currently working on on another license for the PS5. The information was discovered by an Internet user, coming from the LinkedIn account of a technical designer from the studio. On his profile, it is indicated that he is on the job since 2020 on an “unannounced AAA leading IP for the PlayStation 5.”
If it is for the moment difficult to know more, one can remember the rumor Twisted Metal last September. According to VGC, Sony had ordered a new motorized combat franchise title for 2023, and the dedicated studio was none other than … Lucid Games.
