Now is the time for teasing. The creator of the excellent Chicory: A Colorful Tale has shared a first image of his project and it looks cute as hell.
Greg Lobanov is already working on his next game. The thinking head of Chicory: A Colorful Tale, one of the indie sensations of 2021, teased his new production just before the passage in 2022. Nothing too crisp, if not a GIF of an adorable bipedal creature which still portends a cute game all full.
I waited a long time before letting everyone know: I’m working on something new with the Chicory team. I can’t wait to tell you more. Hope to be able to share details in 2022.

The little monsters should be at the center of this next project, since the developer is looking for another person to strengthen the ranks: a “Creature Concept Artist”. Small clue on the recruitment page, the title should be inspired by biology and real animals. As with Chicory, the game will include many characters with varied personalities. See you, hopefully, in 2022 to discover the first concrete details.
