The critically and popularly successful game is now aiming for a whole new medium: It Takes Two will benefit from a TV or film adaptation.

Development studio Hazelight Studios partners with production company dj2 Entertainment in an effort to adapt the much-loved It Takes Two – which sold over 3 million copies last October.

As the project is in its infancy, no information is known. However, on the side of speculation, it is something else. According to the American magazine Variety, the two screenwriters who worked on the adaptations of Sonic The Hedgehog (Pat Casey and John Miller) would have expressed their desire to work on this transposition.

For now, the structure that will host it is still a mystery. This adaptation could either see the light of day in the cinema or on television, as its creator mentions: Josef Fares.

Create the world and the story of It Takes Two was so much fun for me and the team. Since it has a strong narrative with lots of crazy characters and equally crazy co-op action moments, the potential is huge for a great movie or TV adaptation.
