Square Enix is ​​mobilizing for Ukrainian refugees

Now it’s Square Enix’s turn to make a donation to support the victims of the war in Ukraine.

Since the start of the war (which began a little less than a month ago), the number of inhabitants who have fled the country has continued to swell and has now reached the 3 million, the largest displacement of people since the Second World War. And, in order to facilitate the conditions of each of these refugees, various actors from various industries (including the video game industry) are making donations to the competent authorities.

After the Polish neighbors Techland and CDPR or even Wargaming.net, the Japanese giant joins its compatriots The Pokémon Company and bandai namco by donating $500,000.

And, in addition to this sum provided to the United Nations High Commissioner for RefugeesSquare Enix has also just set up a fundraiser within its company which will be intended for the Red Cross, Médecins Sans Frontières and UNICEF.
