Supermassive has finally unveiled its secret project, The Quarry, a new 5-star cast narrative slasher in the vein of Until Dawn.

While he chained the episodes, quite average, with The Dark Pictures Anthology, Supermassive plunges back in “teen-movie” horror with The Quarry, billed as a new love letter to slasher.

This genre which literally exploded and renewed the horror film, with a clear expansion in the late 70s until mid-90s, is here once again adapted into a multi-branch narrative game, as was the case with Until Dawn.

The Quarry: an “Until Dawn 2” for the month of June

Provided for June 10 on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, PS4 and Xbox One, The Quarry is a spiritual sequel to Until Dawn. We will embody a group of young camp instructors who, after the holidays, organize a small party. Obviously, everything turns very quickly to the massacre. Monos soon find themselves hunted by crazies with a thing for manhunting, and a far more dangerous threat lurks in the shadows.

Note in particular the presence of David Arquette (Scream), Ted Raimi (Evil Dead), Lance Henriksen (Aliens, the return), Lin Shaye (Insidious), Evan Evagora (Nightmare Island) or even Kyler Gisondo (Santa Clarita Diet). Without forgetting siobhan williams (Bright Hill Road), Ariel Winter (Modern Family), Brenda Song (Zack & Cody), Halston Sage (Before I Fall), Justice Smith (Pokemon: Detective Pikachu), Miles Robbins (Parental control), Zach Tinker (13 Reasons Why), Ethan Suplee (The Hunt) and Grace Zabriskie (Chucky 2).

A very beautiful poster that it is already possible to see at work since the studio has also shared a first trailerjust to set the mood.
