The next steampunk game from the creators of Myst joins the PS5 and is more concerned with Sony’s next VR headset than the future old one.

Announced in 2018, Firmament, the steampunk narrative adventure game in VR from Cyan Worlds (Myst, Riven, Obduction) who managed to harvest almost $1.5 million on Kickstarterwas slated for release in July 2020 on PS4 and PSVR, as well as PC with VR support.

This was eventually pushed back and a new console has since been launched by Sony. Therefore, the studio has just announced that it will release in 2022 on PC, PS4 and PS5but that he is now aiming for a port to PSVR 2.

The title will therefore not be released more on PSVR and will have to wait until Sony’s new headphones are launched, probably not before 2023, to take advantage of the PSVR 2 support.
