Razer’s co-founder passed away a few days ago. He had co-founded the company behind products for gamers, and was very popular with fans of the green snake brand.

The announcement was made on Razer’s networks a few days ago: Robert Krakoff, “Razerguy”, died on April 26 at the age of 81. Co-founder and president emeritus of the PC hardware company, he launched the brand in 1998 with a team of engineers with the aim of creating mice for gamers.

“Robert’s unwavering dynamism and passion for video games endures and continues to inspire us all,” said the brand’s Twitter account when his death was announced. The man had known his notoriety by leaving a small note on the brand’s products distributed to players. Thanks to his charisma and his passion for gamers, he had become one of the brand’s ambassadors.
