On Youtube, a channel broadcast a compilation of all the rendered images of the Scarface 2 game, canceled in the 2000s. The people are calling for the project to be resumed.
At the end of the 2000s, a Scarface game project had been canceled by developer Radical Entertainment. Fallen into oblivion, this game returned to the news this week on Youtube since the chain Mafia Game Videos just published a compilation featuring all the concept arts of this title named Scarface 2.
You can see the Las Vegas strip and the Nevada desert, but also the interior of a casino with render images from the title. Some images of the rendering of a parking lot are also present in the video. All these pictures have already been published 6 to 7 years ago on ArtStation by their respective authors but many Internet users have just discovered this canceled project.
Radical, studio fallen in battle in 2009
The game was to be a 2009 sequel to Scarface: The World Is Yours, a 2006 title released for PC, PS2, Xbox, and Wii. Many now hope that a project of this type will return to the news one day. Complicated for Radical Entertainment, since the company no longer exists in its original form since its acquisition by Activision-Blizzard in 2009.
The resumption had been unfortunate: after Scarface 2, a project on Crash Bandicoot had been cancelled, then Spider-Man 4 and Prototype 3. Having become a support studio for Activision, it disappeared at the same time as the first Destiny, where it helped Bungie (a new Sony recruit).
