Thus, the group recorded total revenues of C$2.217 billion (approximately 1.64 billion euros). This represents an increase of 57.5% over the last fiscal year.
Such figures were made possible in particular by the lottery sector. The lottery sector generated revenues of 1.043 billion Canadian dollars (770 million euros), which is historic. They had never before crossed the symbolic billion mark.
Land-based casino sector up 96.9
It’s not just the lottery that has been on the rise at Loto-Québec, during the 2021-2022 fiscal year. Indeed, its other sectors of activity all recorded an increase, even the land-based casino sector. Nevertheless, it still did not manage to surpass the revenue levels it achieved before the global health crisis.

An increase of 6.1% for online games

This is a considerable increase compared to the distribution of revenues before the international health crisis. Indeed, in fiscal year 2019-2020, online games represented only 5% of total revenues. This increase can also be explained by various improvements made to Loto-Québec’s platforms.
