Firaxis and 2K have just announced a very bad news to Marvel games fans.
Like many (too many) productions in recent years, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, initially expected for October 2022, is changing its schedule to “give itself more time”.
Midnight Suns to be delayed
Firaxis and 2K have just announced the postponement of Marvel’s Midnight Suns to an undetermined date. This last minute cancellation is supposed to give the developers a little more time to “offer the best possible experience”. A phrase we know all too well.
However, in the hope of reassuring fans no doubt, the studio assures that the software will be released before the end of the current fiscal year. We would like to believe it, but this is the second time that the software has been postponed, so we start to wonder if it really wants to be released.
We’ve made the decision to delay the launch of Marvel’s Midnight Suns to ensure the best possible experience. […] The game will launch later this fiscal year on PC, Xbox Series and PS5. The Xbox One , PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions will follow at a later date.
