Asmodee Digital changes its name and announces two new games

The video game publishing label of the illustrious board game creator has announced two new titles but also its new name, Twin Sails Interactive.

Subsidiary of the French publisher of board games Asmodeethe studio Asmodee Digital is renamed and becomes Twin Sails Interactive. A new name and a new graphic identity a few months after its purchase by the giant Embracer for the sum of 2.7 billion dollars.

The French company, one of the world leaders in board games, has launched itself in video games quite recently, notably by taking advantage of its physical game franchises. From now on, two new games will be added to the catalog of video games: News Tower and Amberial Dreams. Titles that allow the publisher to deviate a little from its board game licenses.

The company says that this name change is accompanied by a new editorial line, with new digital experiences “mixing independent and AA titles on premium platforms (PC and consoles) with their premium partners.” New general manager Nicolas Godement explains:

We aim to become a renowned game publisherThis means three things to us: a top-quality catalog, a team of passionate professionals, and a safe and pleasant working environment. By limiting the number of releases per year, we are able to fully deploy the resources necessary to make each project a success.

News Tower and Amberial Dreams announced

On the one hand, News Tower will be a management-simulation game on Steam developed by Studio Nul Games. Developed by Lumorama, Amberial Dreams is a 2D physics-based evolutionary platformer. Part of a series of flash games, the title is scheduled in the fall on Steam.
