Is Sony preparing a surprise for owners of the PlayStation 5 to celebrate the arrival of Matrix 4?
A smart guy shared information on Reddit that suggested that a video game experience drawn from the Matrix universe would be in preparation, and this would concern the PlayStation 5.
Indeed this affirmation comes from the PlayStation Network backend, and as a bonus we have an image.
As you can see, this project is called “The Matrix Awakens”. And obviously that would run under Unreal Engine 5, the home engine of Epic Games which would once again have the opportunity to show its spectacular capabilities in terms of realism.
The word “experience” is certainly not trivial and it is a safe bet that it is more akin to a Immersive technical demo – in VR perhaps – rather than a real game in its own right.
In any case on our side we put a small part on the fact that the software takes advantage of the hype around the upcoming release of Matrix 4 on December 22, to point the tip of its nose. But to be sure, we will have to wait for a possible announcement. And why not during Game Awards 2021 which will take place on December 9 and 10. In any case, the timing would be perfect.
