We knew it, the action-RPG Lies of P leans towards the side of soulsborne, but we didn’t think it would do so much.
While Gamescom is in full swing, some of our colleagues can try their hand at some upcoming titles. Notably our comrades from IGN who shared a dozen minutes of Lies of P, the upcoming soulsborne action game from Neowiz and Round 8.
Don’t lie to us Pinocchio, you played Bloodborne, we know it
The software will take us into a very dark universe, inspired by the tale of Pinocchiothe famous puppet made popular by Disney. Here, no fairy godmother, nor songs to lecture us since we are in the middle of Bloodborne. The Victorian-steampunk universe plunges us into a dirty atmosphere that looks very gloomy and the streets are full of killer automatons.
From the design to the gameplay and even some tones, the influence of FromSoftware’s bloodiest title is palpable, omnipresent even.
Lies of P is expected for 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series and PCbut still does not have a precise release date.
