Grand Prix brings $1.2 billion in economic benefits to Las Vegas
For the record, the Heineken Silver Formula 1 Grand Prix of Las Vegas is scheduled to take place from November 16 to 18. It will feature a track around the famous Strip that will be 6.12 km long with 14 different turns and a straight of about 1.9 km.
Extremely ambitious, this project should create 7,700 jobs and inject no less than $1.2 billion over a year into the local economy. Thus, it must do more at this level than the Super Bowl final that will be played in Allegiant Stadium in February 2024. Indeed, this game is only expected to generate $600 million in economic benefits for Las Vegas. That’s about half of what the race would bring in.
