The Barrière group is establishing itself as one of the leading land-based casino operators in Europe. To distinguish itself from its main competitors in France, it has just launched a new mobile application that is original, to say the least.
Called Barrière Play, it allows you to play slot machines at the Sainte-Maxime Casino using any Android or iOS smartphone or tablet. This is a first in France!
An upcoming deployment in other casinos of the group
Some readers are surely surprised by this short introduction. However, the new Barrière Play mobile application does indeed allow you to play slot machines from a mobile terminal. Nevertheless, there is a little subtlety. To do so, you have to be inside the famous Sainte-Maxime Casino.
This unique initiative in France should eventually be offered in other establishments of the Barrière group located in the southeast of France. However, it had to be tested somewhere first. The Casino de Sainte-Maxime has been chosen, which fills with pride all the members of the staff of this gaming establishment, including its director Jesus Espino of course.
Prior to the implementation of the service, the new number 1 of the group (Alexandre Barrière) and his sister (Joy Desseigne-Barrière) came on site to present the Barrière Play application to the whole team as well as to the customers. These are several signs that prove that the operator believes a lot in the development of this establishment.

An application reserved for the moment for members of the Carré VIP loyalty program
We have to admit that Barrière Play is an interesting application. In addition to allowing for the very first time to play in France on the slot machines of the Sainte-Maxime Casino, it also offers other assets.
For example, you can use it to follow the news of the gaming establishment but also to book a slot machine or a table in the restaurant. It even offers the possibility to train via simulators to learn the rules of the different games more easily.
For the moment, the Barrière Play application is only accessible to members of the Carré VIP loyalty program. However, more than 500 people have already downloaded it. By the way, it is important to know that by playing for the first time at the slot machines, 3 100 points are offered.
An update on the work announced for the fall of 2023
The release of the new Barrière Play mobile application is not the only news surrounding the Sainte-Maxime Casino. Indeed, the latter will soon unveil to the general public its final project of works. This is one of the key points of the Public Service Delegation.
This will notably allow the creation of a terrace facing the sea and the renovation of the games room. The work is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2023. We will learn more during the next months of February or March.
