F1 22 takes us on a free trip to Portugal

The latest free update for Codemasters’ racing game has added the Portimão circuit to its list.

Thanks to the free update of F1 22 deployed by Electronic Arts on August 2One month after the release of the game, the list of tracks offered by the Formula 1 simulator from Codemasters has been expanded with a new destination: theAutódromo Internacional Do Algarve de Portimão.

Althoughabsent from the 2022 calendarIt is now possible to race on the Portuguese circuit, either on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series or Xbox One. And for the occasion, it is the Mercedes-AMG W13 of Lewis Hamilton which was used in the trailer to cover the 4.65 km track with its 15 turns at an average speed of nearly 213 km/h per lap.

This is the first circuit to be added in DLCbut it’s not the last if we believe the teasing of the official Twitter account of the game. We can even reveal that the next one will be the Shanghai International Circuit where the Chinese Grand Prix is held since 2004. And it would be scheduled for the September 12th.
