Horizon Forbidden West presents its PS4 version, and it’s bound to be less pretty

Only a big week left to wait to get your hands on Horizon Forbidden West. And to make us wait, the latest title from Guerilla Games is revealed this time on our good old PS4.

Guerilla Games continues to promote the sequel to Aloy’s adventures. And this time, the developer lingers on the PS4 version fat in presenting a short video which has the merit of letting appreciate the graphic rendering of the software.

As a reminder, Horizon Forbidden West is a cross-gen title, and will therefore be released on PS4, PS4 pro and PS5. The last two had already been the subject of presentations in the past. Yes the PS5 version was sumptuous and the PS4 pro version showed a completely honest renderingthis is a little less true for the PS4 version which presents a slightly less “bluffing” visual quality.

Sure it remains very correct, especially for a console released in 2013. We’ll let you judge for yourself with the video below, but you might agree that the resolution, the fineness of the textures and the depth of field took a small hit behind the ears.

As a reminder, Horizon Forbidden West is expected for next February 18.
