Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is now set to land on PS4. For the Xbox One version, the developer is unfortunately unable to provide it.
Released in November 2021 on new gen consoles and PC, Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is coming soon to the PS4. However, regarding the version XboxOne which was also planned, the developer will not be able to distribute it. Why? The war in Ukraine impacted production.
A canceled Xbox One version?
As explained Frogware in a press release, because of the difficult situation that crosses their territory, a choice had to be made: the studio focused on finalizing the version PS4thus deciding to put its counterpart XboxOne on indefinite hiatus. A regrettable decision for players waiting, who, of course, will be reimbursed if they had pre-ordered the title.
So, you will have understood, only the PlayStation copy will appear. And it will be the next April 28.
