Epic Mickey details emerge
Mickey Mouse is all set for a a macabre makeover in the upcoming Epic Mickey. With just little under a month till its big reveal some juicy details have slipped through.
The Wii-exclusive Epic Mickey will be the darkest Mickey Mouse game to date. But what’s it about?
According to a Eurogamer source Epic Mickey is a tale about forgotten Disney stars forced into a dark world run by Oswald the Rabbit, Disney’s first creation before Mickey Mouse.
Oswald’s a little jealous and to exact revenge on Mickey he calls on the help of The Phantom Blot to take out Mickey and his cartoon world.
The Blot’s polluted the Disney universe with sticky black ink and its up to the mousey one to restore order.
As it turns out the decision to go Wii -exclusive stems from the game’s control system, with players having to paint and scribble their way through levels, mend bridges and clear obstacles using Mickey’s trusty eraser.
The latest details appear to fit in with the recently unveiled Epic Mickey Game Informer cover showing Mickey himself standing a determined fashion before a non-typical Disney scene.
Not enough Epic Mickey info. Then check out some concept art for the game here.
