Obama: “Step away from the video games”
In a speech regarding unhealthy lifestyles U.S president Barack Obama criticised video games, saying children need to step away from them and spend more time playing outside.
Barack Obama is already regarded as an inspirational speaker, but his latest public jabbering will have docked him a few points in gamers popularity stakes.
Speaking to the American Medical Association Obama spoke about investing in preventative care to avoid illness and disease and taking more responsibility for our children.
But what does that mean?
According to the planet’s most powerful bloke “It means quitting smoking, going in for that mammogram or colon cancer screening. It means going for a run or hitting the gym, and raising our children to step away from the video games and spend more time playing outside.”
According to GamePolitics it’s not the first time Obama has cited video games as a negative influence, previously linking them to academic underachievement.
Who does he think he is? The presi….oh.
