An image and version number found in the console database reveals the presence of Oddworld: Stranger’s Fury HD on PS4.
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, the opus of the Oddworld series released in 2005 and remastered for PC and PS3 in 2011, should now arrive on PS4. This release on the console was also in more or less concrete project for many years.
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD had meanwhile found a place on PS Vita with a port in 2012, then on smartphones in 2014, Switch in 2020 and even on Ouya in 2015, that is to say if (almost) all media had been entitled to it.
According to a photo found on the PSN servers, and an associated build number, the game is indeed present in the database of the console. The remaster could therefore finally join the Sony console, 11 years after its PS3 release. It remains to wait for an official confirmation.
