It was an email sent by Microsoft to its subscribers that revealed the information and the reasons behind this heavy decision. The giant said it had “reached the limits of its ability to offer Xbox 360 games in its catalog”. There is talk of technical constraints and problems with certain licenses. It also specifies that all this will have no impact on the titles that you have already added to your library as part of Games with Gold.
In any case, this marks the end of a nice, long era that began in 2013. Now, it only remains to know if the two softs of the 360 normally proposed each month will be replaced or not.
