If Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been delayed, Ubisoft has also announced some other bad news. Some games will never see the light of day.
While one of Ubisoft’s big releases for this fiscal year (which will end in March 2023) has just announced a very bad news, the players will surely have the displeasure to learn another unpleasant news, especially if they were waiting for the concerned games.
Spliter Cell VR, Ghost Recon… are out
Ubisoft, which just reported on the first quarter of the current fiscal year (22-23), also had a word about its plans. Thus, the company informed us of the postponement of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora as well as the cancellation of four of these titles. And if two of these cancelled productions are not known, since they have not been announced by Ubisoft, this is not the case for the other half.
When it was announced, virtual reality gamers were presumably looking forward to the Splinter Cell VR episode. No such luck, that’s no longer a reality. Ubisoft has put an end to its production. And, the same goes for the free-to-play battle royale that was heavily criticized when it was revealed (less than 10,000 likes versus 30,000 dislikes for the announcement video): Ghost Recon Frontline.

Now that things have been cleared up on this side, we’re only waiting to see what Ubisoft will have in store for us, especially during its next event scheduled for September where Assassin’s Creed is expected. Will we also see Beyond Good & Evil which seems to be still alive? We’ll wait.
