Wishfully’s pretty game has to revise its plans a bit and we should no longer expect to see it released in this late 2022, as it was previously planned.
Planet of Lana, which was shown a short time ago at the June 2022 Futur Games Show, will be delayed.
Lana is now aiming for spring 2023
Initially scheduled for release at the end of this year, the Wishfully shows itself today with a new release window. It will arrive on Xbox consoles as well as on PC in spring 2023 and will also be offered day one to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. This is indeed what was shared by the director of Whishfully in a statement aimed at giving the causes of the postponement which, as is often the case in this kind of situation, are related to the will of the studio to make a copy worthy of satisfaction.
We are sorry that the completion of the development of Planet of Lana is taking longer than originally planned, but we promise that the wait will be worth it. Planet of Lana is a project we’ve been passionate about for a long time, and we want to make sure that when it’s finally available, people will have it in perfect condition. Plus, Xbox Game Pass users will be able to play it on launch day, which we’re excited about because it means we’ll be able to share it with as wide a fan base as possible! – Adam Stjarnljus, director of Wishfully
However, although it has been delayed, the game will be showing up again very soon at gamescom, especially during the Xbox broadcast. This will be an opportunity for the player to see more of the colorful, if somewhat dangerous, world, that our heroine Lana and her robotic companion Mui.
To wait, we are invited to take a look at a new preview:
