Adele announces 34 additional dates at Caesars Palace
The 32-concert Weekends With Adele residency at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum venue has just concluded.
On the occasion of the last performance, the British singer announced an extension. Adele will perform again on the same stage of the Las Vegas Strip for 34 performances from June 16 and 17 until November 4.
Moreover, during these additional dates, a recording will even take place in order to immortalize this show.
Additional performances only on Fridays and Saturdays
Saturday, March 25, was supposed to be the very last concert of the Weekends With Adele residency. However, the British singer announced an extension of her performances in the Colosseum venue of the Caesars Palace hotel-casino.
As a result, from next June, she will resume performing on this mythical stage only on Fridays and Saturdays until November 4, 2023. At the time of the 2 first concerts which will take place on June 16 and 17, 2023, a captation will even be carried out so as to ensure that all those which want to see this spectacle can do it.
An announcement awaited by Adele’s fans
The extension of the Weekends With Adele residency is great news for all the many fans of the British singer. Indeed, if it was expected by many of them, it was never certain.
Adele had previously made it known that she planned to start a family with her boyfriend, sports agent Rich Paul. In addition, she has been complaining of chronic back problems for some time now.
And then, it should be remembered that last year the 34-year-old British star had canceled his residency a little more than 24 hours before its launch originally scheduled in January 2022. Through a simple video posted on her social networks, Adele in tears had then made it known that the show was simply not ready.
At the time, she had pretexted in particular the contamination by the coronavirus Covid-19 of a number of people in her team to explain this cancellation.
Some rumors speak rather of artistic differences between the British singer and the producers of this series of shows.
A presale already fixed for Wednesday April 5, 2023
The day after the announcement made by the singer herself, that is to say Sunday March 26, 2023, we learned a little more about this famous extension of the Weekends With Adele residency. Indeed, a pre-sale is already set for next Wednesday, April 5 from 10am.
To take part, you have to be a verified fan by Ticketmaster and register until 11:59pm on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Only those who have obtained a unique code will be able to purchase tickets for the shows, on a first-come, first-served basis, via this mode.
Opened on August 5, 1966, Caesars Palace is one of the most legendary hotel-casinos on the Las Vegas Strip. Its Colosseum showroom is famous for having hosted 2 residencies of Celine Dion between 2003 and 2007 and between 2011 and 2019.
