After EA Play, Ubisoft + is coming to Xbox (with Rainbow Six Extraction)

Ubisoft announces the arrival of R6 Extraction in day one in Xbox Game Pass but also the upcoming integration of its subscription service on Xbox consoles.

It is on the occasion of the day one outing of Rainbow Six Extraction in the Xbox Game Pass that Ubisoft had the opportunity to confirm the arrival of its Ubisoft + subscription program for console users. Please note, however, that the French studio’s service will (at least for now) not be automatically integrated into the subscriber’s options, Ubisoft will simply allow players to purchase the subscription from Microsoft consoles.

The other news is therefore the arrival of R6 Extraction on February 20 on PC and consoles, and in day one on Xbox Game Pass. Subscribers will therefore be able to try their hand at FPS which marks a change in the franchise that is usually very realistic, to a horrific shooter. The game will be accompanied by R6 Siege which will land on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Xbox consoles are now becoming true temples of subscription systems. In addition to the Game Pass and the Ubisoft + (formerly Uplay), there are EA Play (ex-EA Access), a comparable service on the EA side.

Ubisoft + is the most expensive of the three, at € 14.99 per month. This is two euros more than the Game Pass Ultimate which allows access to the Game Pass and EA Play. For the moment, we do not know if Microsoft intends to integrate it into its pack, and on what date this arrival will be effective.

In the meantime, find the new games of the Game Pass for January 2022 on this link.
