Alan Wake 2 will wait before showing itself but offers some illustrations

Revealed at the end of 2021 without big information about him, Alan Wake 2 will still have to wait before revealing more. However, he shows himself a little.

Unveiled during the Game Awards 2021, Alan Wake 2 was only entitled to a short teaser which then announced a release for 2023 on new gen consoles and PC. Apart from that, nothing, absolutely nothing was presented on this second opus. And, it will not be during the summer events, we obviously think of the Summer Game Fest 2022that we will have more news.

No news but some illustrations

Yet, as promised in the December reveal, Alan Wake 2 had to come back during this period. A delay that could be questioned. However, the team has nevertheless provided some concept art drawing attention to a logically dark universe, like its predecessor.

Everything is going very well with the development of Alan Wake II. We are in full production, we have a lot of material and a large part of the game is playable. But we’ve been talking for the past two months and we’ve made the decision here at Remedy with our wonderful publisher Epic Games not to show anything big this summer. Creating a correct and neat demo or trailer takes a lot of effort, and it’s several months of work that could deprive us of development. We feel like we’re on the right track and want to make sure we’re making the best and first survival horror game for Remedy. We don’t want to distract the team from that goal, so we’ll continue to create a great gaming experience, and unfortunately you’ll have to wait a bit longer for a demo and trailer.
