While the health situation is still tense in the USA, Bungie has announced that it will open almost all of its jobs to full telework.

In a communication on its networks this Tuesday night, the Bungie studio has announced its big “digital-first” campaign. In concrete terms, this means that all positions to be filled or currently filled will be open to a 100% telecommuting in several US states for now: Washington, California, Oregon, Illinois, Florida, North Carolina and Texas.

Like other studios recently, the Destiny 2 developer has announced that it will now promote remote working for its teamsa decision which contrasts however with other very large developers (such as Riot Games, the developer of League of Legends) who prefer to see their teams return to the site despite the health situation still very tense to USA.

Note, however, as Kotaku rightly states it on its site, that this choice of state is quite simply linked to favorable taxation for businesses in these locations. On the open jobs site, eligible jobs are annotated with the words “BUNGIE-APPROVED REMOTE LOCATIONS”. And there’s a bunch.
