Dark Souls PC Servers Won’t Return Until Elden Ring Releases

FromSoftware has been working hard for weeks to fix the flaws found on the servers of its Dark Souls games, but it’s not enough.

A few weeks ago, a security flaw was discovered in the Dark Souls Trilogy PC servers. A major problem, which allowed a large number of cheaters to rush into it.

Quickly, FromSoftware countered the problem by disabling online features while repairs were made.

Today, the studio gives news and announces that it has identified the origin of the fault and that the developers are now actively working on a fix. At the same time, future Elden Ring servers are subjected to numerous tests to ensure their security.

Furthermore, FromSoftware declares that Souls online features will not be re-enabled until Elden Ring is scheduled for release on February 25 next. We will therefore have to wait another two short weeks before being able to enjoy multiplayer again.
