Until now scheduled for fall 2022, the new game adapted from the famous comic book has been given a release date for October. Discover the contents of the collector’s editions.

OSome Studio’s latest creation for Microids, the new adaptation of the adventures of the GaulsAsterix and Obelix XXXL: The Ram of Hibernia will be released on October 13th on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and Switchannounces the studio, which also reveals the contents of the collector’s edition of the game.

In the limited editionyou will find:

  • The Asterix and Obelix XXXL game
  • Two sheets of stickers
  • Three lithographs

And in the collector’s edition:

  • The Asterix and Obelix XXXL game
  • Two sheets of stickers
  • Three lithographs
  • An 18 cm high Obelix figurine
  • A collector box

Microids takes the opportunity to make a little recap on the history of the game:

We are in 50 BC and all of Gaul is occupied by the Romans… All of it? No! A small village of die-hard Gauls is still resisting the invaders… Meanwhile, in Hibernia (the ancient name of Ireland), Keratin, daughter of the chief Irishcoffix, has called on the famous Asterix and Obelix to come to the rescue to thwart the Roman invasion and bring back her father’s beloved ram at all costs… To find it, you will play as your favorite heroes and use your fists and objects around to unlock passages and make as many Romans fly as possible! And because without potion, the fight is less crazy, a brand new recipe of Getafix will allow you to multiply your pairs of sleeves and to send four times more enemies flying…
