The appointment was given by unofficial sources. And, they were right: the one called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order II is becoming official.

Some sources, including Jeff Grubb, announced this meeting for the end of May and they were right. And, not only on this point by the way. In fact, most, if not all, of the rumors are now confirmed with Electronic Arts and Respawn making it official.

An adventure on New Gen consoles and PC expected for 2023

As mentioned before, the next installment will indeed be titled Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. And, unsurprisingly, he’ll send players out again with Cal Kestis followed closely by his trusty sidekick, the BD droid. The adventure then proposed will take place 5 years after the events that occurred during the first episode and it will only be accessible from the year 2023 on PS5 and Xbox Series only as well as on PC. Which then gives confirmation to the previous noises of corridors.

For the moment, we will be satisfied with this announcement of formalization, a trailer as well as a few words from the director of the game, having already officiated on Fallen Order, Stig Asmussen (God of War 3). And already, by his statement, some indications are given as to the experience that the game should provide, an experience based on a more dynamic combat system and a more cinematic realization, it seems. Here are the comments shared:

Even before we finished Jedi: Fallen Order, our team had a vision for how to continue the adventure for Cal, BD, and the crew in the sequel. […]For Jedi: Survivor, we’re working closely with Lucasfilm Games to build on the legacy of Jedi: Fallen Order. We’re leveraging advanced technology to create more dynamic Jedi combat and cinematic storytelling to develop Cal’s story as he matures and survives through the dark times. […]We look forward to sharing more details about the game with the world later this year.

See you later this year for more news.
