After six years at 343 Industries, notably on the multiplayer of the Halo franchise, Alex Bean becomes game designer at Respawn (Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Apex Legends).

Alex Bean, former Multiplayer Designer and Senior Systems Designer at 343 Industries, has joined Respawn Entertainment as senior game designer. After 6 years spent within the company in charge of Halo, the creative moves from Microsoft to EA and should bring his experience especially in multi and arena maps, his specialty.

If he has not announced the project on which he will work with his new colleagues, the next big production of the studio remains Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Fallen Order scheduled for 2023. Respawn was also looking for multiple collaborators for another single-license FPS project, or a strategy game.

Obviously, the follow-up to Apex Legends is not over, with seasons following each other. No doubt his experience will be exploited for this one.
