For some time now, rumors have been swirling about Kylie Minogue’s future residence in Las Vegas.
It’s now official: the Australian singer will indeed be performing on the Strip.
The concert series kicks off on November 3, at the Voltaire, located within The Venetian Las Vegas hotel-casino.
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday August 9 at Voltairelv.com.
Kylie Minogue’s first residence in Las Vegas
This isn’t the first time Kylie Minogue has performed in Las Vegas. However, she had never held a residency in the city before. The singer had simply made several stops there as part of some of her tours.
On her Showgirl tour, for example, she visited the town in 2004. At the time, the whole team thought that the show was just like a Las Vegas show.
The same was true of the Aphrodite tour, whose water features were strongly reminiscent of that mythical city in the state of Nevada.
In short, sooner or later Kylie Minogue had to take up residence in Las Vegas. She has been seriously considering this possibility since at least last autumn. Indeed, the Daily Mail reported at the time that she was in talks with operator Caesars Entertainment for a 12-week series of concerts at either Caesars Palace or Planet Hollywood.

Less success for Kylie Minogue in the U.S.
Over the course of her career, Kylie Minogue has sold over 80 million albums worldwide. She has established herself as the most famous Australian singer of all time, and has met with enormous success, particularly in Europe. However, she remains a bit of a backwater in the USA. She hasn’t toured the country since 2011.
She’s been wanting to take up a residency in Las Vegas for years, and always wanted to do it before she reached the twilight of her career. Turning 55 last May, she feels the time is right to finally take the plunge.
So, from November 3, she will inaugurate the Voltaire with a series of concerts. This venue has only 1,000 seats. So it’s unlikely to compete with Adele, who can draw 4 times as many people to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Unreleased versions of famous songs in a glamorous atmosphere
During the recent press conference at which the residency was announced, Kylie Minogue made it known that this series of extremely glamorous shows will feature never-before-heard versions of songs in incredible costumes. Of course, there will also be a number of surprises on the program.
This residency follows the success of Kylie Minogue’s song Padam Padam. It reached the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and became a TikTok phenomenon.
The Australian singer’s 16th studio album, Tension, will be released on September 22. It will feature a song entitled Vegas High.
