Foreword
Thirty years ago, on July 13, 1987, a saga was born that would forever change the gaming world, undoubtedly changing the way games are conceived. Stealth, action, humor, “breaking the fourth wall”, you found it? Yes we are talking about the series Metal Gear Solid. But the players also got to know an extraordinary creator considered by many as a genius, and by others, as someone on the side or even an impostor, like creatives who divide (regardless of the field): Hideo Kojima.
Such an anniversary is to be celebrated and the editorial staff of JVL could not therefore miss the opportunity to return to this cult franchise. Worn during all these years by the Japanese developer, we will come back to the canonical episodes that compose it and to the future that awaits it.
Regarding Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and considering its age, we guarantee that we will not reveal any key elements. On the other hand, we will support our remarks with concrete examples for the others, thus involving the presence of spoilers.
Metal Gear Games Recap
In this file, we will put aside the opus not conceived by Kojima-san, which are not integrated in the timeline, but we still wanted to make a booster shot on the productions stamped Metal Gear.
