The day after her departure from Double Fine Production, the game’s art director announced that Psychonauts 2 was the studio’s biggest hit so far.
Good news for Double Fine Production and its illustrious boss Tim Schafer. The excellent Psychonauts 2, the latest game from the company now overseen by Xbox Game Studios, has been the studio’s best-selling title since its inception in 2005. It was at the time to take care of the development of a certain… Psychonautsfirst of the name.
Critical success, the game got numerous nominations in the various video game ceremonies last year, and notably won Best Performance in a Supporting Role at the BAFTA Awards. Considered GOTY by several critics, the opus was even a commercial successreveals Lisette Titre-Montgomery, ex-artistic director of Double Fine.

A deserved new title for the studio and its game, released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series. From now on, place with new plays which should not be (at least in the immediate future) related to the frankness.
