The program director of HBO, which will air the TV series adaptation of The Last of Us, has just given an official release window.
HBO’s The Last of Us series expected to make its big debut in “early 2023”said in an interview Casey Bloys, the boss of the programs of the American channel, on The Hollywood Reporter. The TV adaptation of the famous action-adventure franchise has been shooting in Canada for several months.
With Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in the title roles of Joel and Ellie, the series is directed by the designer of the saga, Neil Druckmann. A first season of 10 episodes is planned, with the presence of several cameos for the fans: the doubler Troy Baker (Joel in the game in VO) will make an appearance, and Gustavo Santaolalla will sign once again the soundtrack.
Few official images have been unveiled for the moment, but from many leaks shot by residents of the neighborhoods staged during the shooting have shown a strong similarity with the original content, which should be good news for fans of the license.
