What are e.creators?

A show which was held on November 23 and 24, 2009 in Lille Grand Palais (59). The creators are ” the Forum of Digital Content Producers

The e.creators promote exchanges between the various players in the new technologies sector and support companies in their development. This year, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Valenciennois gives the floor to companies and training courses within the framework of conferences and thematic round tables.

Undisputed showcase of regional skills in digital creation, the e.creators are also launching for this new edition, business meetings intended to promote the commercial development of companies in the sector and to meet the needs of manufacturers in terms of digital creation. and image. In parallel with these new highlights, the Valenciennois CCI is renewing its Employment Forum to help companies in their recruitment process. Nearly a hundred positions are to be filled in 2009!

. Figures for the 2008 edition:

  • Over 1000 visitors
  • 24 exhibiting companies representing 75% of the regional workforce in the sector
  • 17 regional training courses presented by 7 schools and universities
  • 60 vacancies
  • 550 meetings made on site between professionals with students or job seekers

The program for this 2009 edition:

From video games to 2D or 3D animation, including audiovisual production, graphic design or even rich media (Interactivity simplified by ergonomics based on the use of animations, photos, video and sound), 3D visualization or music publishing … Nord – Pas de Calais has nearly a hundred companies, a dozen schools and six laboratories all working in the field of image and creation digital, totaling more than 2,500 people.

On Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 November 2009, within the framework of the e.creators, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Valenciennois again offered, to all these actors of digital creation, the possibility of meeting to discuss, exchange and share their know-how.

On the program for these two days, four simultaneous highlights: a trade fair, an employment forum, business meetings, thematic conferences and round tables.

. The professional exhibition of Digital Creation:

The e.creators offer companies, training courses and partners the opportunity to present and promote regional digital know-how and to increase exchanges between the various players in the sector.

. The employment / internship forum in partnership with the AFJV:

Much more than a trade show, the e.creators, in partnership with the Agence Française du Jeu Vidéo (AFJV), offer a real recruitment assistance service for entrepreneurs looking for creative profiles.

The objective: to meet their needs either by appointments at the show based on preselected applications, or by unsolicited applications. After the success of the 2008 edition, companies have joined forces to once again offer a wide variety of job and internship offers. This year, nearly a hundred positions were to be filled: project manager, game designer, 3D animator, computer graphic designer… So many profiles sought by companies.

. Business meetings:

New for 2009: a strong desire on the part of the Valenciennois Chamber of Commerce and Industry to support the economic and commercial development of companies in the sector. In the same way that interviews are organized between job seekers / students and companies within the framework of vacant positions, targeted meetings between exhibitors and their potential clients also took place on site.

. Thematic conferences and round tables:

The creators gave the floor to the exhibitors: companies and training organizations hosted conferences and round tables on the TV set set up for this purpose. All orchestrated by Beating Drum in charge of the TV set represented by Patrick lethien and Dpok Resolutions represented by Jean-Francois Despinoy who took on, for the occasion, the role of facilitator during these two days. Two days where each exhibitor showcased their skills, productions or current projects through interviews. In total, 15 conferences and 4 round tables.
