We know more about the PlayStation 5 release of the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy compilation. Even for current owners of both games, it will be necessary to check out for technical improvements.
After appearing in the ESRB database, the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection becomes clearer on PS5 with a release date of January 28, 2022. On the other hand, on Pc, nothing new, so we have to be content with the very fuzzy “early 2022“.
A paid compilation for everyone
This re-release brings together as you know Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and its recommended price will be € 49.99 for newcomers.
And for the elders? It will not be free since the PlayStation 5 update of these titles will cost you 10 €. However, those who obtained Uncharted 4 via the PS Plus cannot benefit from this paid patch.
Players who purchased UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End, UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy, or the UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy Digital Pack can pay € 10 / $ 10 to upgrade to the digital version of UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves. The upgrade will be available when the game launches on January 28, 2022.
Players who have a disc version of the game on PS4 must insert it into the PS5 each time they want to download or play the digital version on PS5. Players who own a disc version of the game on PS4 and have purchased the PS5 Digital Edition without a disc player will not be able to get the discounted PS5 version..
Game modes and upgrades
For this transmission of the torch, UC4 like Lost Legacy, will have “almost non-existent” loading times – which should not do much except the first one at the beginning -, the3d audio, as well as a compatibility haptic feedback and adaptive triggers history of having a new-gen immersion.
Performance sides, three modes are offered among:
- The mode “Loyalty” with some 4K native 30fps
- The mode “Performance” in 60fps, the resolution not being indicated
- The mode “Performance +” with some 1080p 120fps
