Usher is the latest celebrity to call Las Vegas home

It is the singer Usher who has officially declared, a short time ago, that he has been living for a year now in this city of the American state of Nevada.
To not need to travel around the country anymore
It was during a recent interview with the American magazine The Hollywood Reporter that the singer Usher officially announced that he had moved to Las Vegas for a year already.
Born on October 14, 1978 in Dallas, Texas under his full name Usher Raymond IV, this show business star moved to Atlanta at the age of 12. Until last year, he divided his time between this city in the state of Georgia and Los Angeles.
As he became accustomed to performing often on the Strip, he had the logical idea to move to Las Vegas. Instead of traveling all over the country to meet his fans, he finally found a place where everyone could come to see him.
It should be remembered that in 2021, for example, he performed 20 times at the Colosseum venue at Caesars Palace via his Usher: The Vegas Residency concert series.
Subsequently, he gave 25 performances last year at the Dolby Live at Park MGM as part of his Usher: My Way residency. In 2023, he already has nearly 70 shows scheduled to take place at Dolby Live.
To bring new stability to his family life
The reasons that drove singer Usher to move to Las Vegas are somewhat the same as those mentioned by all other celebrities who have already made the same choice as him. He sought first and foremost to bring new stability to his family life.
This allows him to enjoy a place that all his children call home and in which he can work fully. This way, he is in the middle of all the excitement of his concerts, while being able to go home quietly and spend quality time with his family.
In Las Vegas, celebrities also enjoy the relative tranquility of the city compared to Los Angeles in particular, where every move they make tends to be spied on by paparazzi cameras.
Usher became popular in the late 1990s with the release of his second album My Way in 1997. To date, he has sold 22.5 million albums in the United States and 65 million worldwide, making him one of the biggest R’n’B stars of all time.
