If you are a rally fan, then this information will please you. For good reason, the game Dakar Desert Rally just got its release date.
You don’t know this new production of Saber Interactive and Saber Porto from Adam or Eve? It can be summed up in a few words. Dakar Desert Rally is a game…of rally, but taking the form of an open world. It is described as the largest of all the games in the genre. The goal is to make the player experience the official races of the 2020, 2021 and 2022 editions of the Dakar.
Since its announcement eight months ago, the game had been rather discreet. But the developers have decided to break the silence to reveal the release date which is set for October 4 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series.
A promising title?
In terms of content, the open world of this software will offer about thirty stages to cross using various licensed vehicles such as motorcycles, trucks, quads or SSV. To spice up the experience, a day-night cycle as well as the four seasons have been integrated into the game. All this, you can discover it alone, but also with three friends in multiplayer races.
Let’s finish with a little update on pre-orders. If you opt for the basic editionyou will have the opportunity to get the Audi RS Q e-tron, the very first car to have won a rally in the desert. As for the Deluxe Editionit allows you, in addition to the basic game, to access the Season Pass, five DLC packs containing a new map, new vehicles and two rally events. That’s pretty hearty.
For those of you who are curious, Saber Interactive will be present at the Gamescom 2022. We can therefore normally expect a new trailer of Dakar Desert Rally.
