Arkane Austin could tackle a sequel to his reboot of Prey in 2017. The American branch of the French developer would indeed be very close to releasing a CGI trailer, aired for the Game Awards this week.
As a reminder, Prey, first of the name (by Human Head Studios) never had its sequel planned in the late 2000s. Bethesda, following the buyout by Bethesda, saw his project canceled in 2014. Instead, the reboot was announced.
The rumor of this sequel is all there is more unfounded so far, relayed by an anonymous insider and Gamer. According to this supposed leak, the game will also be named Neuroshock and will take place some time after the events of the first opus.
