CD Projekt and Netflix took advantage of Geeked Week to present a first trailer for their animated series.
Announced for quite a while, Cyberpunk: Edgerunner finally reveals its plastic through a first trailer which sets the tone.
Cyberflix 2077
Althoughit shares the same universe as Cyberpunk 2077, Edgerunners is an original creation which features a young teenager trying to survive in a city completely addicted to body modifications and the deviances of technology. To make life easier (or not), the hero then decides to become an Edgerunner, the cool name given to mercenaries.
For this adaptation on the small screen, CD Projekt and Netflix have worked together with the Trigger studio, already renowned in the animation world for works like Little Witch Academia, SSSS.Gridman or kill la kill.
Whether Cyberpunk: Edgerunners does not yet have a final release dateNetflix still finds him a broadcast window set for next September.
