Elden Ring: Patch 1.002.001 on PC and PS5 fixes some of the bugs

FromSoftware is wasting no time and is already deploying a first patch to rectify the issues raised by the PC and PS5 community.

We told you about it a few days ago, if Elden Ring is a hit and an excellent game, it still has a lot of technical issues to resolve, especially on PC. FromSoftware had announced that it was actively working on bugs and did not lie, since the studio has just deployed its patch 1.002.001, mainly intended for PC versions and PS5.

Elden Ring Patch Note 1.002.001 PC and PS5

  • Startup issues related to Easy Anti Cheat (EAC) have been improved.
  • Mouse operation has been improved.
  • Reduced the number of files to load when entering a new area. [pour éviter les freeze notamment, et les problèmes liés à la gestion de la mémoire]
  • PS5

  • Fixed a bug that caused some unexpected game closures.
  • Note, however, that the save problem, which impacts a small part of the players, is still relevant. The studio is still working to resolve the issue and is once again asking players to Quit their game regularly so that they can effectively save their progress. In addition, other patches will follow shortly, including one that will bring ray tracing.
