A game reputed to be “the rarest 3DS title in North America” was bought by a fan for $1,600, allowing him to complete his console’s collection.

We know that scarcity makes things very expensive. And obviously, this 3DS version of the Barbie Groom and Glam Pups game is worth over $1600. Released in 2013 as a port of a Wii and DS game, the THQ title is no longer available in stores or on Nintendo’s servers today.

To find it, a fan collector of 3DS games had to import it from Brazil, at an unbeatable price: $1600 (“plus import charges”). A fair price for fully complete its collection of titles released in the USA. But, in his own words, “a few years ago, it was still only worth $700”. The game is considered rarest 3DS game in US regionhaving only been released on Canadian territory.
